Info on pedestal coating

I've read in the past post about people looking for coatings/paints that would stay on pedestals or manifolds. I have used VHT Flameproof silica-ceramic coating on my exhaust manifold and turbo pedestal and have had very good results with it not burning off. It comes in a variety of colors and is a spray can type application. It is rated as a 2000+ degree material. I just posting my experience with this product. My particular vehicle has seen egt's in the 1800's for brief stints and VHT is doing very well. It can be purchased at Carquest Auto Parts.

I think that VHT stuff is what sweetdiesel used, I could be wrong but there was a large thread about it in the past
