We need to verify and override the Torque Management in 4WD Low if it exists. I will be looking over logfiles today to figure out what's up.

If there is actually defueling happening in 4WD Low, we need to build a DSP2 tune that will "overfuel" when you flick the switch to get max power in 4WD Low.

I'll be honest, I have my doubts. But it certainly could be true.

What might also bear looking at, is if both 04.5's and 05's are doing it.

We do know Blue (os 1668) smokes in 3rd at sled pulls. Casper does not (os 8758).

We don't care if it defuels in first and second. But if it defuels in 3rd, problem.

Actually, some defueling in 1st and second might actually be a good thing.

I would be very carefull doing this as the factory tq management is there for a reason. Broken shafts come to mind. I believe whatever tq the truck is making will be multiplied by 2.1 ( converter ), then 3.10 ( first gear ratio Alli ), then 3.73 diff ratio and whatever the low range in the transfer case ratio is. That is monster tq.

How does McRat's tune compare to yours? I know he has pretty much got the LLY tune perfected from what I have read. To bad he didn't have an LB7 to test an tune:(

Honesty, top end feels a lot stronger (3200rpm +), Bottom end (2200rpm -) is a little more laggy(but i'm working on that) and it dose not smoke as much, my tune smokes like a 12v cummins this one only smokes on the top!!!
