Some of you know that Dmitri has owed me money for tuning for about 2 years now. Any of my requests outside of this forum provide nothing as far as a response, however when I post about it on this board he is quick to contact me and string me along. First, it was when I had just started tuning for some friends and was referenced to him and did not have access to a credit card machine. Dmitri said he didn't have a PayPal account, nor did he know someone who did. He wouldn't make one. So I said forget it for now...and waited.
I asked for it a few times here and there and never really got a response, I guess that's my fault for not being more assertive about money that was owed to me.
I posted on the forum again and got a call right away asking me to take my post down and him ranting about reputation on the forum/internet blah blah...like that's any of my concern...I am not the one in debt.
He asks me,' you must really be hurting to need this money so badly', which again has nothing to do with me trying to make right on my past transactions... I took this aggression about money to mean, possibly, that he may have been the one in a tight place for money and regardless I decided to let it go for the time being. Everyone has tough times.
A lot of time goes by and again I poke 'call me too's on his facebook or in posts on the forum and get nothing. He begins to message me on facebook and says that he logged off/didn't see it/some other excuse and says he wants to compromise now on the amount that he owes me stating (for the first time to me EVER, that he didn't like the tuning at all and that it didn't work for him). He says he'll call me in the morning about it. Doesn't call all day, or at all for the rest of the week...
So I post again in the Rick v Dmitri thread telling Dmitri that I'm pretty tired of waiting around for him and if he doesn't have my money after 2 years, then I'd have to start some bs legal process to get my money which I didn't want to do...SIGH.
Well this provokes another phone call from Mr. Angry Dmitri ohhhh man. He goes on and on asking me if I have a life outside of the internet( I do, but it's the only way you'll contact me), asking me if I know anything about "Internet Reputation" lol, and yelling that the tunes didn't work and that they were bullsht blah blah and that he wanted to give me half, so I give him the benefit of the doubt and tell him sure HALF of what we originally agreed upon 2 years ago was fine. Just give me a card number and we will just BE DONE WITH IT. He rustled around again looking for a card and said that he'd have to call me back with the information. ...SIGH (again^^).
He starts talking about internet reputation again and what he's done and I ask him why he thinks his time is worth so much more than everyone else's?
He starts yelling fck you this and that and I think to myself 'Why am I letting this guy bs me here on the phone saying the tunes were bad, yelling fck you fck you, when I just agreed to take half the amount???' So I tell him, If you want to talk to me like that when I'm doing you a favor then we're right back at the original amount. No favors.
He says that I'll have to take him to court to get it, I say OK and hang up.

I built him a race tune and spent the time from 6/27/2010-7/10/2010 working with him relentlessly, able to refine the tune every single day, all day long. As long as he could get me a good log.
He will say today that the tunes were bad and that he shouldn't pay me anything. This is COMPLETE BS as he says here (7/27/2010), not 10 DAYS after I sent him his latest tune:
HE NEVER ONCE SAID ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TUNES UNTIL 2 WEEKS AGO. Hmmmmmmmm If thats not trying to dodge payment I don't know what is..
Then again about a year after that, 8/15/2011, Dmitri says:
Even like 2 MONTHS AGO MAY 2012he asked me to tune his truck again.
IF THE TUNES WERE SOOOO BAD WHY ASK ME TO DO IT AGAIN??
SERIOUSLY AM I WRONG FOR STANDING UP AND ASKING "WHAT THE FCKKK?!??"
So to Dmitri,
I do not desire to do any business with you in the future.
I do not want a single penny from you.
The satisfaction that will come from everyone knowing how shady you really are is enough.

PS, I titled this thread "I'm sorry Dmitri" because I really am sorry. I am sorry that you are the way you are, and that you think it is OK to back out of deals and steal MY PROPERTY, skating by with no consequence.
