Im Scared!!!!!

Well, i have my Suncoast stage 4 and 1057 converter sitting on my floor, It came yesterday. I have plans to pull the tranny friday after work and go all weekend and hopefully get it all done! Im set up pretty well on with the R&R of the tranny, i got a 10ft., 10,000 lb. lift, nice tranny jack, and about every tool under the sun in my friends garage! But the internals of that pig have got me scared to death!!! Ive even reconsidered doing it several times just today!!!! So who whats to root me on, Somebody make me feel better about doing this!! Please!!!!

never done it myself but this same situation has come up on other sites i visit and everyone who has done them says its pretty simple and if you have the whole weekend it should be plenty of time.

i say do it i am about to do the same thing myself and have been researching the hell out of it and with a man like mike l only one phone call away whoi could be scared, just remeber to keep everything as clean as possible, i have heard if you get a big white sheet and lay it on a table and keep evrything with eachother and just do everything in reverse order from tearing it down you should be fine, have fun with the c1, c2 snap ring

trippin's clutch compression tool would be nice for that snap ring... I believe it's for the c1 return springs? Converter bolts, lower starter bolt, and installing transgo springs were my favorite. Just put Mike's number on speed dial and you'll be fine.

anyone been to TDP to give jeramooshin a hand i believe he suffered the same fate as boylard, broke the teeth of the inside of the case, i believ like 8 of them

now i am getting really scared now about doing mine myself
