OK, I'm a porker. But I'm trying to reduce my bulkitude. I'm down from 295lb to 250lb, so I still weigh more than a typical dirtbike.

So I decide to exercise by swimming. I weigh myself this morning: 250.0lb. GREAT! Now I'll swim for an hour to hit the magic 249.9lb (kinda like running a 12.9 ET). I get out, dry off, and hit the scale.

252.5?????

I guess my consolation is that at least I can swim year round in CA.

Heck, I'm already eating 300 calorie TV dinners for lunch, coffee for breakfast, no more pizza, and sucking down Light Beer.

Perhaps an amputation??

Weight loss takes time as it should. Sudden drops in weight are bad. Don't try the 11 sec weight loss program. :cool2:

Pat, i took on the south beach diet a year or so ago, and i dropped weight pretty quickly, and ate really well. it is a really heart healthy diet, and it worked for my folks as well. it got my step mom's cholesterol in check in about 6 months, no medications. good luck

Those TV dinners are actually horrible for you...

Lots of Sodium, Potassium, and Cholesteral!!! Makes you retain water very bad!!!

Up your fluid intake, try to drink at least 1 gallon more of water per day than you already do!!! Try it for a week or two, you will be suprised.. It will also shrink your stomach and lower your urges to eat!!!

mickey mean greens and little kings are my favorite!!!

I didn't know they still made Little Kings. Back in the day, maybe 34-35 years ago that was the drink of choice due to it being easier to hide, seeing they were just 7oz each. I quit drinking when I became of age:confused:

i didnt even know what they were until about 8 months ago....my dad filled me in on what they used to drink back in the day...then he drove me and a friend into lancaster to get a 8 pack....at first they were freakin nasty...then the taste grew on me...and now its king and green time!!
