Sorry I haven't been on the board much lately. I still drive a hotrod Dmax nearly every day, and will re-appear on the race circuit in 2015.

My 20 year old business was ill. I had to step in and nurse it back to health. I've been working 6-7 days, often 16 hours a day.

I don't get much hotrod time lately, but once I get my shop back to it's old "self-sustaining" mode, I will. Already I have made the lab set new records for sales and quality of work. Now I just have to train my team to do it when I'm not around. I have a good team but they stopped trying to improve themselves. Now they are back on track, and almost fully up to speed.

So I haven't started driving a Prius, or decided that 55mph is about as fast as anyone needs to go. I've just had to get my "real" job done.

Thanks out to all of the staff and other hotrodders here for helping others and making the Duramax the weapon of choice for diesel racing.

Casper is nearly 10 years old now, and has been racing for 9 of those years. Never blew a Mike L trans.

Guess I drive it down and get some Mike L Love.

For those who don't know the history:

I bought Big Blue as a tow vehicle in Feb 2004 for our 2002 Z06 Vette, the Blue Meanie.
Then I decided to see how fast that big 3500SRW would go. Hmmm... Me likey!@
Next thing you know, I started racing Tow Trucks.

Last night, I got to hammer on the Blue Meanie in it's stock trim. Damn! Not only was it fun, the nosy neighbors bitched about it on Facebook! :roflmao:

This morning I drove Satan (2010 ZR1 Vette) to work. That's like 5 cups of coffee at 5am. It's hard to believe that Casper is both quicker and faster than that monster.

I need to hammer on Casper something fierce. Come on, it can't be THAT fast right?

By today's standards Casper is an "also-ran". Now it's time for him to show his heritage.
