I'm looking for a used gearbox to attempt to rebuild for my truck. Where is the pertinent information for identifying the gearbox that I have? I was able to uncover a barcoded tag with 'TCB1054F0058, ,P15078804, and 'CB' on it, and stamped into a smoth spot on the top plate is '10 A47'.

The guy I was speaking to mentioned a 'KF' ID - is the 'CB' on that barcoded tag the ID we're looking for?

Here is a picture that I took when replacing the the pit-man seal. You can see there is some numbers on the steering gear casting. The numbers are going to be hard to read with it in the truck because it sits next to the frame. When I was looking into it I couldn't find any concrete information. I did see the bar code tag and numbers you mentioned but upon searching Google I didn't find anything. From the picture it looks like the numbers are 26078664 and WF or KF ID 6H87. From DP a member [TannerjPowell] posted a reman he bought and the number is 26078664, the next number is WF 4. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/76-gm-trucks/80-suspension-steering-2001-2010/335187-pitman-arm-power-steering-box-input-shaft-seal-replacement.html.

Called the dealer and the ACdelco part number he gave was 19153560, but I dont think that helps you.
