ok so I am in the process of picking my harness and I went through the diy on diesel place. i just want to make sure i am doing this right. so i got my connector unplugged and i thought there would be a hole or something that i was supposed to put my pick through, but there is not. am i supposed to just burry my pick through the plastic and make my own hole?

I didn't like the idea of poking through the plastic myself, fortunately I have a terminal pick set and just pulled the terminal out, tightened it, sprayed it out with cleaner, and put it back together with dialectric grease.
yea so I just pushed it through just enough to where I seen the terminals start to come closer together. I did this because its been acting kind of weird lately. when it is at idle for a while it will lope just once every so often, and the idle seemed to be a little rough. balance rates were all good, and I replaced the regulator 6 months ago, but I have a lift pump so that probably wouldn't do it. harness at alt. bracket was fixed long before it was a problem so I thought id try this. so far it seems as though it has helped. I guess time will tell
