okay, so it is very rare anyone but I drive my truck, very rare. however there is the ocosinial valet driver or for instance the stereo shop. Is there any way to similuate or force the factory limp mode via efi? limp mode sucks, yes we know that, but its performance is exactly what I am looking for when I have to leave my keys with some dumb shit that wants to "get up on it" while parking my truck...

thanks :)

Change the parameters in the limp tables as far as what sets them off, it would be easy with the LLY, I have never looked at LMM tables though. If the tables are the same you can limit the fuel for whatever rpms you want and you can set the limp to set whereever you want it (I think)

Your going to have to flash in the tune anyway when you get to where your going as your driving style is going to limp as soon as you start your truck :frog:, so why not just make a tune that has limited available fuel and dont worry about the limp tables.

Dsp would be great, I had a dsp tune that limited the truck to 5 mph :D

in the buckeye state
or limit fuelin to 20-30mm3 still be driveable... ie to shop and what not.

max fuel quantiy vs rpm B1117 to say 30mm3 simmillar to limiting to 20-30% throttle.

Dont drop it off, stay there and read a diesel mag while you wait for them to finish. Cant take that long for them to put some subs in and a amp.

You would think they would? It is pin #71 on a LB7.

hate to break it to ya mike, but if you had a 12v cummins, you could have a valet mode switch under the dash, or wherever you chose, for a limp/valet switch.

as far as your current situation, go as these folks recommend. :D

If I had a 12v I wouldn't even need a switch for the valet guys..... :baby:

lol j/k I had to say it :D
