Hi Guys, My 8.1 in a ccsb with zf6 and 4x4 feels weaker then my 4.3 with 200,000 on it. I mean NO BALLS. I mean vs another gasser not a diesel. Its ok if the truck is empty but even with a 2500 pound boat it has a hard time in 5th at 60 climbing small hills. My fathers ford v10 will destory this truck towing it. I asked a GM tech, when I got a free oil change in my wifes NOX, he said if the battery had gone dead the trucks tune could be f-ed up. The battery had gone dead for awhile at the last owner. The truck starts cold and idles to 1500 then to 400 then evens out at 900. Sometimes when coming to a stop it idles at 2000 for 5-10 seconds then idles back down to 900. Trucks got 75xxx miles Im sure oem plugs etc. so im sure its due. Its runs good except for the idle and total lack of gunt. Any ideas???
