i haves a stupid question

so I FINALLY finished fabbing my hidden receiver that sits in between the frame rails.specs on it are: 6"x4" 3/8 angle iron with a 4" 1/4 square tube for the cross member and a 2.5" receiver. cut off that plug thing off the old receiver and put it on this one

so the question is, good or bad idea to weld it in place?

I made mine bolt in. My angle iron is turned around the other way, and I welded nuts inside. I used the factory bolt holes in the frame.

FWIW, I thought mine was overbuilt, but yours is quite a bit heavier than mine! :woott:
