Truck came with this intake tube on it when I bought it decided to reposition it. Good thing I did never properly secured and it wore a hole through it. Thankfully none of the metal looks like it went into the turbo would like an opinion on a quality replacement obviously there's K&N and I've seen S&B but I am new to the Duramax world. Thanks in advance. What I pulled off was the blue filter Spectre kit

I assume this is on your LB7 you posted about before? I moved it to the LB7 area of Hard Parts.

S&B before K&N every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

BTW, try to fill out your signature with your truck info. Helps a lot instead of us having to wonder what version engine you have.

Everyone does seem to have a pretty good opinion on those it will also depend on what Summit has in stock since I live a five minute drive from the store in Arlington Texas

Pretty sure summit will ship to the store for free. I have a Bills intake on mine with an AFE dry filter, but I don't think he's in business. I would go S&B in a heartbeat

I run the banks with ram air scoop and prefilter bag. Just love it. One bad thing, the ram air scoop need modding with larger tires than stock. But, heat it and bend. Problem solved..

All they had in stock were K&N, Volant, and summit, made by K&N. If I didn't need to get the truck running yesterday would have ordered S&B. Thanks for the input.
