I don't mean to be rude or anything, but not a chance it's worth that IMO for two reasons: 1) It's got way too many miles AND 2) It needs extensive engine work that will be really expensive if someone can't do the work themselves.
I'd give you $6500 for it though.
So, what's going on with the truck? There's some good folks on here from TX that might be able to lend you a hand in fixing it yourself? You could probably pick up a set of used heads for relatively cheap and then gaskets are <$200 IIRC. Could you keep it if someone helped you do the repairs somewhat locally to you? TX is huge so I don't know how close some members may be to you. Let me know if not though, I'm headed down to Houston the week of Thanksgiving and could take it home with me if you can't afford to keep it.
Seriously, let me know, if we can get the price right, I might take it off your hands in a couple weeks.
