loved my old 6.5 but went though njector pumps like crazy,,,,,,my bad for running purple fuel perhaps?
Hieth diesel has alot of mods that you might want to look into
It aint a POS mine had a ton of miles and still ran strong it was close to 300 000 miles i put on that truck and it was way better than the 5.7 chevy IMO

Mine was just rebuilt last year, but it has 270K miles on it. I didnt think mine would spin the tires but I always take off in 2nd gear at an idle. Its the only vehicle I have that runs right now, besides the wifes truck! I dont know wether the turbo is working or not, I never hear it!
Simon, all I run is dyed fuel in that dog. So far, so good. Its on gravel 95% of the time and I dont tow with it so I dont feel bad runnin farm fuel...its a farm truck! IMO farm fuel USED to run better but I'm not convinced anymore. It was back when it was not ULSD.

a 1994 was the first year for the electronic pump. I had everything that Heath diesel made for one...Marine injectors, #9 fuel resistor, Heath pmd mount, Heath custom ecm, Heath turbo waste gate, Stock duramax straight piped exhuast, Custom made cold air intake, Eaton locker in rear, And a LEAD foot, I went through 3 rear ends in that thing, It was the burn out king!!! I would only push 15 psi with spikes going to about 17psi. Just remember Kurt you dont have the dual thermostats so keep a eye on the Water temp!!! I sold it for my first duramax at about 160,000K Wish i still had the truck but needed a rear main Very bad, Before i sold the truck i cranked the waste gate all the way in. I could get about 27psi out of the old GM-8 turbo

Eric taught my fiance how to do a burnout in that truck. I wouldn't let her do it in anything I own.:angel: Plus it had a badass side pipe kinda like Casper's :beavisnbutthead:
