Ok, so I'm working down in my shop and I get a metal bur in my eye. No big deal, I got it out right way....happens all the time. Well a few hours later my eye still hurts since it must have gotten scratched. Now comes the good part
A few weeks ago a friend who is a doctor was over my place, well when I was moving I found all kinds of eye drops from the doctors over the years. Well I asked him what they were and he went though them with me. He told me the one was one to numb you eye. Well theres this suff called pondicane (there are a few others too)sp? which is the only legal drug in the US to have cocain in it. I thought score Since they will not give this out and the only way they use it is at the doctors office, and it only lasts about 45 min. They will not give it to you because someting could happen to your eye and you would never know it. Belive me when I say you could stick a pencil through your eye and it wouldnt hurt at all I always try to keep some on hand for when I get a flash but havent had any in a few years. So once again I'm thrilled that I have something for my eye. Well I throw a drop in and it stings like hell....as I think to myself...I dont remember this stuff stinging at first. Then over a 5 to 10 min period my vision in my left eye is blurry as can be. I look in the mirror and my pupil is the size of my thumb So with one eye I go on the computer and look up the name of the stuff (tropicamide) and find out it is the stuff they use to dialate your eye to look inside it. So needless to say I'll only have 1 eye for the next 4-8 hours:rofl::rofl::rofl:
