Makes fuel prices and accidentaly spewing coolant on a Harley seem kinda meaningless for a few minutes eh?

I love to listen to people in those kind of situations that don't want people to pity them or do everything for them.
I have a friend that lost a leg to cancer that helps out at a camp every year as a counselor that has this guys attitude. Some of the people at the camp have no respect for others and expect those more fortunate to do everything for them. It makes me sick sometimes, but then you meet some of them that will do whatever it takes to learn to do it themselves, and can admit they need help the first couple of times. That's the only reason I stay.
He has been all over the country racing an atv with us and a team called the Media All Stars. The entire team is made up of people with disabilities of some kind. Two of them race with one arm, two with one leg, one with C.P. The team mechanic has C.P. also.
I have more respect for them than anyone I've ever met, and probably ever will. You spend time with people like that and you can't help but get an amazing positive vibe, it's kind of like a natural high that wears off like the real thing when you have to part ways to go home and face the rest of the world again.:D
