i am getting DTC P0700 Transmission Control Module Requested MIL Illumination code

hi guys im getting the DTC P0700
Transmission Control Module (TCM) Requested MIL Illumination in my 2002 gmc sierra with the 5 speed automatic....i have the diablo sport predator tuner and i keep getting this code and i have deleted it but it comes back every once and a while also my tranny will slip and rev up when im open throttle or just slowly accelerating....any help would be great thanks

You need to get something that will pull the codes out of the TCM. Is the trans going into limp mode when this code pops up?

no i dont believve its going into limp mode...how could i tell...it dosent lose any performence it just will rev up and slip and i put it into neutral and it fixes it i have no idea the problem all i know is that i am getting that code...i also am getting a generator code im thinking its just my batteries tho

Low voltage could be a problem.

check your batteries for good connections and if they are good. I had the same problem and traced it back to one bad battery. my tcm and ecm would loose communication while cranking

fixed it the second batt + terminal worked lose just a lil bit till i really tightened it freaking optima hooked the truck to the trailer test drove it turning it on and off about 20time trucks running like a dmax should
