I actually had some fun!

Well, plans were to just do head gaskets.. Now that i see 7 out of the 8 injector feed lines almost completely clogged and did a balance rate test and two were out of spec, thought it was the right choice to do all injectors in one shot! Wallets not liking this, but thankfully my brother, buddy, and myself are doing all the work minus decking the heads. Plans were to to tear the truck apart tuesday, but my buddy had two 6.0's with cabs off that needed heads taken off and a motor to pull. So those were done, and yesterday we started tearing the lb7 apart around 3pm and got the heads off at 10:30pm. Now the wait till the heads come back from the machine shop, but i have a set of ARP studs sitting, ready to go in! Injectors should be here sometime this week! Big thanks to Henry at Creatures of the night performance for all his help during his trip to SEMA! Enough small talk, here some progress pictures. :thumb:

the crud that you saw on top of the injector is from the actual line/flare fitting when you removed the line.....Eric explains it best.

Yeah, i'll be sure to do that definitely! I actually enjoyed doing to, up until we had drivers side head off then going at the passenger side we had every head bolt loose but the short hex head bolts, started to round out.. took an easy out and took the mallet and put it on.. Heard it break free, i was like a little kid full of excitement!
