Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to start diagnosing on this.
Yesterday I was doing a 3 point turn and when I went to full lock I started getting a loud rubbing noise/vibration and feedback through the brake pedal and steering wheel. Not your typical low power steering fluid whine, sounds like you were dragging something under the truck or something was rubbing the wheel well. You can feel the same vibration you feel in the pedal and wheel in the hydroboost if you put your hand on it while you turn the wheel or apply the brakes. It's full of fluid and there are no leaks. Could it be the power steering pump?
Don't want to just throw parts at it but it looks like all the rebuild kits for the hydroboost are just seals? Brakes and steering work aside from the noise/vibration. Anybody have a similar problem? Everything I've seen is about them leaking.
Thanks for the help..
