so i got a good deal on an hx80 turbo off a cummins generator...got it for free.95!!:woott:
question is...would i have any use for this on my lb7??

i would like to run twins and considered purchasing a kit, but i got this for free...so if its a good turbo for a twin setup ill use it

opinions, facts and figures welcome!

Need the specs of the compressor and turbine wheels, also the turbine housing size would help. HX80's are big and heavy and come with alot of different wheel combos.

ill have to do some research and see what i come up with....the inspection plate is on the turbo with the serial #'s and stuff but i don't see anything that shows wheel size, a/r, or anything like that

I think an HX80 would be too big unless you are running a large hi pressure turbo, dual fuelers, built motor etc. From what I have read (not fact) an HX60 can move 1550cfm. Can't find much info on an 80 but it's HUGE
