A friend of mine has a 06 hummer h2 sut with a 6.0L and 15000.00 that he wants to put into it as far as upgrades to the motor/trans what are the best options?

build the 4l85E- must with ~3000-3500 stahl
tune
cam
intake
full exhaust
heads.
and he will be pushing 500hp n/a very easily
also he could put a STS turbo setup on it. with fordge r/a setup

what about the tune who has the best for it EFI?
could he just install the supercharger or you think the cam and heads would be better?
i know nick dmax tuner/vortecfcar has a bunch of LSx tunes
super charger would work.
personaly i would get good bottom end, cam and intake run about 9.5:1 then throw a SC on it at a later date and run 10-15psi boost with it or more dependign on bottom end built
stock head flow pretty good by them selves. valve and vlv spring up grade would be good idea amybe port the stockers. that would safe some $$$ from buying new aftermarket heads.
the altimate question is how much power does he want? 450rwhp 500?

that could easily put him over the 15k budget.. :rofl:
tho the cool factors would be really high
if you are doing hte labor then yes well with in the 15k range
sc3 iirc goign 2300ish for parts
dont forget other minor little stuff
Why not drop a dmax in it? I know a guy in Canada that's building a pretty good engine

They specialize in D-max conversions for H1-H2's and Vortec 6.0L H3's and a bunch of other wierd stuff! IDK how much for a D-max conversion but they do good work! They did Arnold "Govenators" Hummer. I had a run in with one of his D-max H2's one day, He was pullin on me some and my truck aint no slouch! Granted had i had a tranny ida had him but, I know

I used to browse the LS1truck.com forums and alot of the guys there were lovin the STS kits. Maybe try that site for some good info.
