That it normal.

If you clamp the wastegate 100% shut and have fuel available, you will see 42PSI on a gauge at sea level at best.

Boost doesn't equal power, but it certainly can help. A HTT at 34PSI is 0.5 seconds quicker than a stock charger at 32PSI at LACR with a single stock CP3.

I ran 11.77 @ 114 mph with that charger and a dual fueler.

I see 40+ with a twist or two to the waste gate.

Kinda makes me wonder what mine would do blocked.

I see 38-40 with the wastegate vice-gripped (JUice gripped)...FWIW.

Easilly traps ~106-107mph at the track at that PSI. This is with 100% my own tuning.

do you have a lift pump, and is your FPRV shimmed or replaced with a race valve? I only see 34ish max with mine...then falls off to 27-28 on hard runs. Its gotten worse (less boost), and I'm throwing 1093s now even with Pats tune. I do not have a lift pump, or any mod done to my FPRV. I'm pretty sure the falling boost is caused by the popping valve, and lack of supply to the cp3, . All this to say...you might have a similar problem to a lesser degree, as I don't see those mods in your signature.

i have no lift pump and have been wonderin if this was a problem i am shimmed however and never throw any codes. so what do you think as far as the waste gate on the htt is longer or shorter rod mean that the wastegate is being cranked closed tighter????? if your lookin down at it is it clockwise turn or counter???
