Something I came up with years ago. I took numbers from my tests and other people's testing, and came up with this for Dmaxes:

Code:
JetSize	Area	HP
0.030	0.0007	14
0.035	0.0010	19
0.040	0.0013	25
0.045	0.0016	32
0.050	0.0020	39
0.055	0.0024	48
0.060	0.0028	57
0.065	0.0033	66
0.070	0.0038	77
0.075	0.0044	88
0.080	0.0050	101
0.085	0.0057	113
0.090	0.0064	127
0.095	0.0071	142
0.100	0.0079	157
0.105	0.0087	173
0.110	0.0095	190
0.115	0.0104	208
0.120	0.0113	226

Keep in mind this assumes you are running a solenoid bigger than the jet size. And you have enough fuel to clean up.

A small solenoid is about .062
A medium solenoid is about .090
A large solenoid is about .125

I picked up .6 and 4.5-5 mph with a (NOS) 45 jet last year how could that be 32hp?

Dunno. I saw just under .2 with a .040" shot, and that was in very thin air.

Guess your truck is different. You should then drop over 1 second and pick up 10mph with a .065 jet on your truck, since there would be twice the nitrous going in, assuming there is fuel.

My system was plumbed pre turbo I wonder if that makes a difference?
.065???????????? Tempting BUT :chicken:The engine has 110k ish now with 65+ on the trannie build as well, so she runs fuel only these days!

So with both stages its like running a 0.090 jet, going by the chart is 127hp, but
you made 187hp. Is the table conservative because it was compiled a couple years ago compared to current tunes with more available fuel?
