How true are the Cts readings

Notice that my temp gauge on my truck said it was running 210 but the Cts said ect was running 170. Big difference there

Cts is gonna give you a more accurate reading as it's relaying the info the ECM is seeing, the stock gauge clusters are well known for inaccurate readings. Sounds like it may be time for some t-stats if that was your fully warmed up operating temp..

I think they do it on purpose. All the LMM's I have messwd with are the same way. My gauge will be at 210° from the time EFI reads 185° and won't move up until it is above 210°

Thanks.Wasnt sure what the heck was going on
Its been brutally cold .So I let it run about 15 mint before I drive
Just the temp difference between the two I was wondering Wtf
