Load max effort tune hold WOT and see if it limps

You might be able to pull the small inspection cover and tell if theres a aftermarket converter in there.

Yep i would do both ^ bring it up into 5th gear on a max effort and hold it to the floor if its stock it will limp or you will feel it slip

10 WOT runs through all gears on a max effort tune will surely tell the truth.

Also, if the seller is scared of you loading a big tune and doing WOT a few times...that will also tell.:thumb:

I have yet to have a stock Allison that didn't limp on a max effort tune after 10 WOT runs. Not one!

Just let me drive it one...I'll tell you if its built or not.:roflmao:
