LB7: How to install upper oil pan

Getting ready to install oil pan and was wondering if I need to install the pan before the rear cover. If so I'm ph@cked

The rear cover/flywheel housing should go on before the upper oil pan. The front cover should also be installed before the upper oil pan.

I installed the front and rear covers first. Just making sure I I don't have to pull em and scrape em and get new seals

No, your good and did it right. make sure the dowel pins are in place on the back mid plate where the upper oil pan goes though.
