Turbo oil feed came off, sprayed engine bay and all undercarriage. Any ideas on the best way to clean it up?

I would get a good non solvent degreaser and spray everything down and then carefully use a pressure washer and spray everything off.. A hot water pressure washer would be even better. IIRC just have to be careful around the FICM.

steam cleaner would work the best. after my LB7 started on fire and all the white stuff was all over my engine bay that's what I used to get it off. lol too much heat could be a bad thing on wires and plastics, that didn't matter for me because I got a whole new wiring harness anyways

I would try a strong solution of simple green and spray it on (careful to not get it on paint) and let it soak. do that a couple of times then hit it with a pressure washer.

good luck

Spray 9 works good as well. Hot water is the key to the whole equation.

Not that you would probably have enough oxidation to matter, but be careful that you get all the Simple Green off if that's what you use.

From Simple Green :
http://www.simplegreen.com/solutions_faqs.php?search_query=aluminum&search=Search
Aluminum - Is it safe to use Simple Green® on aluminum?
When used with caution and according to the instructions, Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner has been safely and successfully used to clean aluminum. Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner, Crystal Simple Green® Cleaner/Degreaser, Simple Green Pressure Washer Concentrates, and Pro Series™ Simple Green® Automotive Cleaner have been used on aircraft, automotive, industrial and consumer aluminum items for over 20 years. However, caution and common sense must be used: aluminum is a soft metal that easily corrodes with unprotected exposure to water. The aqueous-base and alkalinity of Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can accelerate the corrosion process. Therefore, contact times for unprotected or unpainted aluminum surfaces should be kept as brief as the job will allow - never for more than 10 minutes. Large cleaning jobs should be conducted in smaller-area stages to achieve lower contact time. Rinsing after cleaning should always be extremely thorough - paying special attention to flush out cracks and crevices to remove all Simple Green® product residues. Unfinished, uncoated or unpainted aluminum cleaned with Simple Green products should receive some sort of protectant after cleaning to prevent oxidation.

Brake cleaner does a good job, but it's expensive. Simple Green will discolor some plastics and aluminum, but is cheap.

I'm scared of pressure washers, too many times I've ended up with electrical gremlins after using them. If you are careful, they work well.

Brake cleaner and water from the hose worked. That and ripping all the oil soaked insulation off my firewall
