I usuaaly drive somewhere in between, I run it hard but not full throttle. And progessivley get meaner and meaner
Easy stop and go to begin with. Make sure alli shifts through all the gears. Then slowly begin to drive more aggressively and and add more throttle as the shifts begin to clear up. If you hammer it right off the bat you will hurt it.

The reason that I ask is that I
had developed a problem that when it would downshift 2 gears it would go to neutral then slam in and I thought I was limping it but wasn't getting any codes.
I was being pretty soft on the relearn.
this time I got a lot more aggressive and the problem went away.
