How to correctly test a dsp5 with a multimeter?

Hello everyone my name is Michael, I am new to the forum. I have an 06 LBZ with a couple go fast parts and tuned by Mr.Tony. I saw on the efi live forum that there is a way to test your dsp5 with a multimeter, but my question is how with a closed end switch? Could someone help me out and explain it to me?
