anyone built one or know a good place to have one built for a decent cost? id like to be able to do sales off it as well which makes the cost go up i know but would liketo get something going. Let me know what you guys know!
step one: hire some one
i got a buddy here who does them Jake but hes out of the country for two weeks. i think i talked to you about him before, no?
We did i think but cant remeber what we taked about :roflmao:
i would like to try and do it my self if at all possible. i found few places to use i priced go daddy once and for a webiste it was like 1200 to start up and 400 a month to maintain lolz maybe i did something wrong but i was like holy **** that nosie!:spit: maybe ill try go daddy again and try checking to see if i have soemone local to do it
if you want a place that does the hosting and dummys down the GUI for you to build it, your gunna play lots more. are you wanting a "store" type website? in two months we are prepping to to turn out website retailer for caulking from an HTML based website to a "store" style. my buddy is doing it all cost much less that what go daddy is tryin to charge
ya i wanted to do a store style site and go daddy says its a 120 for a year but thats without any thing to do selling with and it doesnt give you the option to ask for that i can find
nm found it its like 50 bucks a month lol additional plus 60 for the merhcant account which is dumb as i already have one threw my quickbooks but probably cant merge it right? or can you somehow
Depends on what they can do but i know my buddy will be merging our quickbooks with the store. im not sure how he will set it up being we use paypal with quickbooks right now. I only know so much about websites and such, i wish i would have minored in that instead of databases and such for corperations
Steve Watkins aka swatkins. PM me if you want his number.
uhhhh ya i need to hire someone i cant even get that to work right :roflmao:
did he build yours rick?
check out shopify. Their software for order tracking/inventory management/etc is awesome!!
They have some really cool pre-made templates too.
Thats what I use for my website (www.btdieselworks.com) and Im really happy with the way it turned out. This was my first time making a website, so Shopify is pretty beginner friendly.
Godaddy kinda sucks for web hosting. I have my domain registered with them, but their "website tonight" thing is a joke.
