So I tried to get information on how to become a vendor on this site and support our community but have not been given any information.

Can someone please chime in and possibly provide information on how to do this? I have PM'd three mods and none can provide the information.

You will not be able to become one. You do not run or own a shop and have already made it clear you wont be apart of your parents business as you want to stick to being an engineer but yet you are trying to sling parts around the vendors we already have.

This site does not just allow anyone to be a vendor, it does not need the money.

This thread will remain closed as there is no room for discussion or commentary on this topic, but in the interest of transparency, we wanted to share these messages so everyone knows how/why we choose certain site sponsors/vendors. We normally wouldn't post this information publicly, but since Bdsankey brought it here, we feel obligated.

So you're telling me simply because I don't want a full time career in this industry I'm screwed? Fantastic.

Why does it take me making a post for one of the mods to finally tell me this? If this would have been told to me 6+ months ago when I messaged TheBac and Kat we wouldn't be having this problem but due to a lack of communication on your (the mods) part I am stuck here without use of an account to support other members on this page or purchase used parts.

Let me make this clear since you seem to want to find no fault in yourself.

You act as though this should be a speedy progress. You had not been here for even 6 months since joining and expected to become a vendor just like that? You then proceeded to start trying to sell things and say you work the business with your parents. We told you to knock off the advertising of your shop and selling as you were not a vendor and we needed to see who it was we are dealing with. You then proceeded to start pm’ing and selling parts silently through pm’s, again, you were told to knock it off and then we come full circle to last week doing the same shit again.

Now we find out you don’t actually work at your parents shop, never plan to but yet feel you have the right to sell around our vendors who have contributed a hell of a lot more to this community than just dollars.

You are stuck where you are because you couldn’t follow simple directions about your selling. Your lack luster info posted shows you have much to learn and you are pissing off other vendors with what you have done.

This convo is done. You want to sit your ass back and actually make this place better, do it and we can look at bringing these privileges back. You continue on with your bs and you will be gone.
