I would appreciate any help. I replaced nsbu switch with OEM and since then I have to push the gear shift lever a little harder into park to be able to turn the ignition switch to get the key out. About half the time the lever will go far enough to turn the key, the other times I have to push the gear shift lever again and then I can turn the key to take it out. The park light mostly just flashes once and them stays off most of the time when in park.
It seams to me that the nsbu switch needs to be rotated to make it go all the way in park so that the light will stay on and I can also remove the key. What is the direction to rotate the switch when looking at the switch from the passangers side of the truck and does that sound like the fix or do I have to pull the switch, set the alignment clip back in it and reinstall the switch again. Except for the not going all the way back into park, it works great.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Rob Brockmeyer
