I am curious at what options other than spending 6k bucks on a suncoast there are for tranny upgrades? I really cant see putting that much in it just to run a 120 hp tune.

Transgo and new converter, but its still not cheap maybe 3k. That is assuming your clutches are still in good shape.

SCIII with a contverter and you will be able to hold 600whp no problem. Youre only looking 2300 or so.

Thats not just your off the shelf Suncoast. That includes converter valve, and other stuff to bump mainline psi, as well as new bearings and fluid. At least that what mine came out to. Plus Reece and my transmissions were built by idiots so they hold more hp :happy2:
It would be even cheaper if you bought a Precision converter because my 1058 was around $1500 iirc. Precisions can be had for $1000 which would cut down the cost and get you one kickass converter.

You can have a built stage 3 out the door, fluids labor and parts for $3500-$4000. If built by someone with experience that knows the tricks of the trade it will hold allot more than 500HP.
