how much does everyone think a transgo JR and i 1057/1058 hold in an 07 6speed Alli? im thinking of trying my hand at tuning my dads LBZ after he gets his trango JR installed (the converter will be a early B-Day present for him). i would like to try it as well so i can get used to the newer style ECM but i dont want to limp a truck that isnt mine. the truck has cognito UCA leveling kit with 285/70/17 tires, MBRP cat-back duals without muffler. thanks in advance.

I think it all in how we drive them and when they were built, that or mine was a freak trans,I ran the hell out of mine around 2400 miles, was running 13,74 on power pup and exhaust and intake,no trans work, did a transgo jr and 1057 converter and upgraded to ppe hot+2 and she ran good 12.99 @ 105 that way on all #2 got to happy with the NOS and started eating away at the c3's and c4's and the werent really that bad when Big Dipper went thru the trans,I was pushing 500 on # and with very small shot 555 and 1100 tq on nos but rail pressure was falling off hard fuel rail was leaking so that might of saved the trans for awhile after fixing that is when it started feeling slugish and limped. hope this helps you.

With a stock trans and convertor, my '07 dyno'd 480rwhp without limping...13.80s @ 97 at a high altitude track...At 4,000 miles with that tune, Mike showed me 2 sets of smoked clutches...

Transgo advertises that it holds up to 600 hp and 900 tq. That is the regular transgo. I think the jr is rated at 500hp. Mike will know for sure.

Too many variables, no two trucks put together the same, and driving style.
I've watched a lot of guys race these trucks and have come to the conclusion that McRat can make things last before breaking better than most people. He is smooth; no violence on launch.
