Do you have a built engine? If not dual cp3's could result in you needing a new engine due to a rod wanting to come out the side if the block. Just my opinion, I'm not a tuner or a professional. Just what I have read on here from others bad luck.

Hi there, welcome to DuramaxDiesels!
Sweet truck man:thumb:

With the injectors, you've got the potential for about 750hp...
With the twins, I'd bet they move enough air for 850...
With the Danville 40% pump, I'd guess its capable of supporting 700-750hp

With a stock bottom end, you'd be lucky to be "safely" getting 600whp...I'd guess more like 525whp
If the engine had anything done to it internally, that number could be much greater, however you're running big rims and tires, so if the gears are stock that will rob you of a few ponies

Dual CP3's or a modified pump like the exergy 12mm cp3 would provide more fuel, sure, but your injectors will only move so much and the engine can only handle so much too, so if the bottom end is stock, there's really no need to provide anymore fuel to it...

I wouldn't be afraid to say with that danville pump your already living on the edge?

That and the 45% injectors, after my recent piston failure I've become much less optimistic about the potential and longevity of tuned factory builds running more boost and fuel than stock stuff does:eek:

The tuning dictates how much power he makes with that fuel and air. Not the bottom end. Stock rods and pistons are capable of making same general power as carrillos and good pistons. You are wording it weird and it sounds like you are saying 'you need to have a built short block to make big power'.

It's not the truck in my avatar that's my 02 my 04 is on stock size tires. As of right now it ran a 12.0 at 112 it's 2wd the tuning is korry Willis I drive the truck every day and it never comes off the big tune. I'll worry about the rods when they fly out, all I want to know is if dual cp3s will benefit me power wise thanks guys

That all depends if you're losing rail pressure and how much if so.

If you are commanding 24k and seeing 22k, the extra couple thousand psi ok pressure might be a slight difference. You probably wouldn't feel it.

Now if you are dropping 4,000 psi get dual fuelers.

After you get dual fuelers you can open up those injectors even more.

It all depends on how hard you want to push it.

He really need to find out what his pw is. Kory might have the pw low to keep the motor alive and/or keep rail pressure up. I'd go dual fuelers and have kory crank up the pw. It will run good but probably for a limited amount of time.

45% injectors and stock cp3 my guess is I have you around 2650uS for the biggest tune... Should be around 3k actual PSI to desired if they are true 45% injectors. So there is likely another 100hp on the table to have the injectors "maxed out" (basically beyond the point of efficiency because of huge PW chasing the piston down..even though still makes more power)... If you don't already, put a LBZ/LMM reg on it and we can hang the pressure to it as well!

More on the table for sure.

Yes

If you don't care abt the bottom end.. Yes dual cp3's will help make power. You may only make it a mile or two. Good luck.
