How much trans fluid???

Ok guys i am going to drop the pan and change the internal and external filter. My question is how much trans fluid should i buy? What brand of fluid should i use?

Iirc mine held 11 quarts with a deep trans pan... I use shaffer.. Services the trans with 40k on it an all the internals looked brand new using shaffer..

Alli deep pan holds what; 3.5 quarts more than stock ?

Shallow pan is 8 qts I believe...dex III

idk but my deep pan holds 11....

When I installed the jr I replaced both filters and it took 3 gallons to refill with a stock pan. This is after the pan was off for whatever time it took to install the jr so there was a lot of dripping for a while.
I use Transynd.
