For us, the majority of the crap stopped last night. No idea how much snow we got, its been blowing contenuosly over 20-35mph since before it started yesterday morning. We got 1/2in of sleet first then a blizzard. Some spots are about bare and others some serious drifts! The christmas eve drive home was a clincher! Wow, terrible visibility, very strong winds and blowing snow, white-out somtimes. The roads themselves were pretty slick but the tricky part was where the sides of the roads that didnt have much for windbreaks, the road was clear but fierce wind and snow and then a treeline comes and drive into thick drifting snow and "snowplane" 
Took me twice the fuel and time to get home:spit: Still real windy and cold looks to hang around for quite a while before anything thaws.
