LLY: How much power can stock motor hold?

I want to install a nos kit in my truck as a budget twin kit so to speak... Just not sure how big of a shot i can go with. Basically i want to put it on the dyno just to get a crazy number and piss off the ford/cummins boys with my stock turbo. Then i want a shot just to mess around with racing every once in a blue moon.

Post turbo is best right? Or should i do a bit pre turbo too?

Built trans, lift pump, and new tunes with all be there. Egr delete pipe is in so i will run the gas threw the port provided there and probly run the tank in the tool box or in the back seat.

Any other good info would be much appreciated.

what kinda hp number you looking for? I made 540/1022 stock turbo and injectors without nos.It dont take much to piss the ford and dodge guys off!:thumb::roflmao:

I want to be in the 600's. My buddies 6.4 is putting out just over 600. Cummins boys wont race me and i dont tell them what i got. They are all in the 400hp range and i tell them thats where i am at as well.

Truck is probly in the low 500's at the moment if i had to guess.

Yep, lly stock motor. No studs or anything really.

I need something to pop for me to justify ripping the motor down. lol

The money spent will be worth the look on their faces.

I made 765 with stock lly, danville 68mm over danville s480, danville modded single pump and danville 50% injectors. O and Marks tuning.

With the single charger making 700 I made about 75 runs at the dragstrip, with the twins I made about 100 runs. My truck is a lot lighter then most though.
