Guys help me with my LMM. I'm about to tune it, it's got 100k on the ticker.... How hot a tune can the 6 speed take? I know 100hp would limp my old 5 speeds every time. Also how tough are these motors? Should I be worried about cracking a piston?

Your trans is iffy, the 6-speeds do hold more power than the 5s do but your starting off with more already. As far as the pistons holding, it seems to be a crap shoot. Ive got 220k miles on my truck, over 500 hp since 10k then added the turbo kit around 150k and she's still going strong. I don't beat on it every time I drive it, Its probably seen 100+ passes at the track and a couple hundred on the street.
You can play some on a 500hp tune if your CP3 can keep up. I wouldn't daily on more then a 100hp and want it to live forever. I would also advise a transgo Jr.

Your mileage will go up a lot by deleting the dpf. Also do your engine a favor and block the egr. Your warranty is gone once she gets a tune.
All the vendors on here do. The exhaust kits from 01-2010 are the same do get a 01-07.5 kit. Merchant automotive has a great fitting block plate. Another thing to look into is a pcv reroute. As for tuning just use the search option on here.
