whats funny is that they say no dirtbikes,quads etc for kids under 13 because of the amount of lead in them, but 125cc bikes have more lead, but are ok because their meant for kids older than 13...
ugg more BS legislation made by people who dont have a clue what goes on in the real world .
if lead was that big of a problem ( i highly dought it is) why not let the PARENTS make the choice to keep there kids away from that exsposure. isent that what living in a "free Country" is all about the right to make your own choices? WTF!

This is just bs! I learned to ride at Age 6 on an XR50 and now no one will be able to get new ones, that just pisses me off.

My buddy is still on a 1971 Honda 50 cruizer it ha baskets front and rear I lost the bottom of my foot on it once ridein in sandal, went to take a hard corner and the sandal ripped off, and the road took some of my foot too. Damn beer:angel:
This is Sht I started riding at 4 while i was bmx racing. Then i moved into just dirt bike i had a cobra 50cc then a kawi kx65 then kx85 then i moved to a kfx400 quad and then ive had an asortment of other honda 450 quads since then. And im fine wtf is this about.

Like was stated we supossedly live in a free country so let us do wtf we want and if some parents think w.e then dont buy yours kids dirtbikes...

not olny can they not sell bikes they cant even sell parts to fix them
i have a friend that works at a deler/shop has to turn away 20 irate people a day that need parts to fix there 50s
and this is the weard thing they also had to pull all motercycle gear designed for kids under 12 because it cant be sold as well ????????????

I was looking on Honda's website. You can search crf50 and trx90 and it comes back with links and then they don't take you to the product.

My kids race mini quads. It is very much BS because it sounds like it will funnel down to not allowing us to race now as well. It is not only the machines and parts but now they are not selling helmets and some clothing because they may contain some lead as well. The age limit is 13 and the machine size is less then 250cc. I haven't yet had one of my 3 kids chewing on their quads or equipment to get lead poisoning. There are many petions being passed around to try and help. Please search and sign some to try and help. I have been around bikes and quads a long time and here I am writing with no problems.
