Hooked up my ppe the other day since my clutch was finally broke in.

All but injector 1 balance at 1.8 or so, #1 is 3.8-4ish. with a little throttle it still sits with the rest of them, no haze/smoke thats not normal from shifting.

Know LB7's are notorious, not surprised, but how long would a guy have?

I don't think you should worry about it. A spread of over 6 is when I'd start being a bit concerned. I've put 100,000 miles on mine without issue running clean fuel, new fuel filter about every 6000-10000 miles and stanadyne pretty well every tank.

Don't start getting scared if you aren't making oil or smoke

but......get ready to open your wallet. If you own an LB7 and you haven't recently replaced injecors you are always close to needing them.

I've had #5 at 3.6 to 4.2 for about a year now and it's starting to haze a bit... so I feel you pain on injectors, I gotta get my o4' put back together so I can tear the 03' down for injectors.

Yup both are LB7's I like them but... you know it's a diesel thing, just never happy no matter what it's got in it.

I thought I noticed a loud injector this weekend, check the rates, #4 was -4.78 @160mPa I used a full bottle of Power Service, said it treats 40 gal just dumped it into 1/2 tank of fuel and drove it for about 20 miles, seems to be much quieter, I re-checked the rates, and #4 was -2.46. Gonna drive it and keep using some sort of fuel treatment.

2 stroke oil made my balance rates worse.

I'd do the fuel injector cleaner from GM (there are write ups on here and DF)
or/and run a shit ton of diesel kleen through the tank

Did a combo between 2stroke and Power Service in the same tank, followed by the remainder of power service and it seems to have fixed my balance rates according to my ppe, as they are all withing .85 of each other.

thanks for the heads up fellas
