Yes there is a way. We have a service truck here at the shop that didnt have it and chevy offers a cruise addition package. It is kind of a joke how it looks but it does the job, there will be another lever by the turn signal lever that is oversized and tacky.

My 06 dirty doesn't have cruise. Which is silly, it's all controlled in the ECM I would assume, so it's really just missing a couple buttons lol. Doesn't bother me a bit but thought that was kind of interesting. Power windows/doors etc., no cruise....

Im not sure what year truck that is...but all 03+ gas trucks are drive-by-wire...so all you need to do to add cruise as buy a new turn signal stalk (one that has cruise buttons on it, im sure you could find one in a junk yard because 95% of the 03+ trucks had cruise), and plug it in. No wiring, plug and play....

Well either I got one that doesn't work or its not 100% plug and play... there's one plug that's not there on our w/t model that needs a home that comes off the new arm I got from the junk yard tore it all apart and plug the other 3 connections in but no worky.... Also the brights won't work only let's them flash could just be a bad arm ??

It sounds like you got a switch for a 2001-2002 truck...they arent the same as the 03+ switches...

When I put the new blinker arm in my 05 W/T there was 2 connectors that plugged right into the steering wheel and then there were 4 wires that had to be spliced into the BCM.

Ya I figured it out I simply Un pinned the harness for the cruise harness outta the steering column I got and re pinned it into the truck and boom cruise works that plug I showed in the pics is the cruise so it's not going to be 100% plug and play unless the truck had that harness sitting there already
