Hey Everyone!

I hope all is well.

I will try to give as much detail as possible as I am pretty new to the truck market, married into it with my wife who is a professional horse trainer....but I like to do things right and if I am plopping down the big gs...I want the best. So here is the background.

We run a professional horse training business and haul anything from a loaded stock trailer, to a 6-8 horse trailer with living quarters.

Lets just say the average trailer is between 16-20k.

I am looking at 2013 Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 engine with Allison and DRW mainly because just haven't seen good used cars out there.

Can I get some response about these new trucks, what some other have paid out the door, worth traveling out of california? Pretty much anything you guys can provide is useful info.

And anything else that I missed.

J love my 2011 2500. Even in stock form thy are pretty beastly. I just couldn't leave mine stock though lol. By the way I always see alot of of used trucks around here in so cal cause of gas prices. You could probably get a great deal on a used one someone only used on weekends or something like that.

Don't cheap out the tow on the tow package and the ambulance package (dual alternators). You will be happy you have it in the long run. The GM product is superior to the others in the long term.
