Horn problem

The Horn on my LBZ stopped working recently, not sure when as I don't use it very often. The horn does still honk when I lock the truck with the keyfob. So I know the horn does work and the horn fuse is obviously good. This is probably a dumb question, but could the relay cause this issue? If not, what should I be looking for?

the horn button itself in the steering wheel is a possibility

checked, relay is good too, any other possibilities

When mine went out, it was the contacts in the steering wheel.

just loose wires , or what needed to be replaced?

Contact ring. The dealer fixed for me under warranty many years ago.
