Just got home from my 3rd foot surgery. She fixed one tendon and removed a bunch of metal fragments left by previous surgeon She couldn't fix one tendon that was hosed from being infected so long. .

That's exactly what I was thinking. Exactly how is it that surgeons leave things in people? I've heard of it before. But, still find it hard to believe.
