Homemade exhaust

I'm picking up my new truck Wednesday, and it has a stock exhaust system. I'm planning on building my own, so for those of you that have, I have a few questions. Where did you find the fittings to join the exhaust and downpipe? And what did you do for hangars? Thanks a ton.

I have a customer who runs a stainless fab business.. He cut the old hangers off and used the factory flange off the original exhaust..

Yea. Just took a 4" 90 with a reducer and welded it to the original flange. Then built the rest out of fittings and pipe. Was 4" food grade stainless all tig welded and polished.. 5-6 years old and looked new.

Awesome, thanks a lot. I'm a steamfitter by trade so it will be made out of 4" dairy tube as well. Stock exhaust is 3 1/2" correct?
