Would somebody mind giving me a guess on how much power I will be able to safely beat the hell out of on a Suncoast 1057, C1-C5 Powerpacks, shift kit, pump kit and boost valve for a 5 speed...thanks in advance everyone.

Who built it? Parts out of a box mean nothing. Proper setup is critical.
Look at the truck and see what the customer requires and adjust the build as needed. One size does not fit all. Allisons are easy; didn't they tell you that?:D

Tuning is just as critical as setup of the trans. You can build to suit factory tuning, tune to suit the build, or both for the ultimate setup.:D:thumb:

Mike is right though, it makes a big difference how its set up. Plenty of guys have ruined suncoast IV's, G-max kits, even some custom setups that run over 320 psi of line pressure with no cutback when in lock-up, and lots of extra alto clutches in the C-1 through C4 packs.

Yet others, (like myself) run over 500RWHP with no issues using stock clutches. And others that have built suncoast III's in there garage that hold up for a long time with lots of power. So there is no simple answer as to how much power a certain kit holds.

I understand what you guys are saying, it matters what kit you have only if it is setup correctly.

With what parts I listed, are there any recommendations as to how I should set it up?
Follow the stock clearances and rebuild instructions?
Setup the shift kit per the instructions?
Shim kit only one way to go there?
What pressure for the boost increase valve???

I dont know if what I am asking would be considered free knowledge but if so its greatly appreciated!

Where did you buy the kit? If you bought from a reputable builder he should be willing to help you out with your questions. If you bought from one of the online sellers that sells stuff penny's above cost and has never built one however, your probably not going to get much help from the professional builders on here.:(

I bought it all through my dealer, they are not a vendor here so I would not want to start any problems saying there name, but I doubt they have any technical knowledge.

I figured I would have to do some research to figure out proper setup, but thanks for all the knowledge so far guys.
