600+ neighborhood, I was passing a dickhead that wanted to go 15 under I was on it for maybe a few seconds got past him and that's when it happened. Truck started to shake and lope, believe it or not it still ran I thought it may have just been an injector at first, and drove 30 miles to have my balance rates checked. That cylinder with the crack was out quite a bit. But gm told me it was just an injector. Boy am I glad I didn't believe them and bought a endoscope to check it I would have spent $5000 on injectors and new lines and didn't fix the problem. I probably would have killed that GM guy lol, they charged me for a compression test, I know they lied about doing that

Did your original motor blow the head gasket with studs you were asking about in the other thread? Then when fixed the piston cracked or did the donor engine have studs?
