I am looking for a new ring compressor. My KD crinkle type compressor is just too risky with the fragile oil rings in the dmax.

What are some good options out there? I know the bore size is 103mm (4.055"), so do i need to get a 4.060" compressor or do I need to find a metric size?

I found these and like the looks of it but I have never used a solid sleeve type, only the clamshell and adjustable band types.

Tim bought a set of those, and hates them, or last year he did, he put them in the bottom drawer and went back to his old ones.

Ted did the same:D

I have the cheapest one money can buy and love it!

Does Ted or Tim want to sell theirs? I think I am going to try one. I like the idiot proof factor. There is nothing like the feeling of busting a ring, especially when its not your motor:eek:
