Hi. Yesterday I installed a high idle kit to my 2003 duramax lb7.
I tested it and it worked fine. I was driving home it felt sluggish and lots of vibrations.(I turned high idle off) When I got home after driving for about an hour my check engine light came on and it was fuel pressure rail?
I cleared the code and took it for a drive and than my truck started to sound bad like a hard knock and almost stalling out. I had to keep giving it fuel.
My truck always had a tiny surge once in the while. I googled it and said my fuel pressure regulator could be gone. But I'm thinking I ****ed something up to the ECM when I was installing the high idle. Is that possible? Please help me ASAP I need to fix this issue.
Thanks !!!
Also I have a bully dog prog and bone stock duramax

It almost sounds like something to do with the injectors...like one of them is just leaking straight through to the crank case and your fuel rail can hold and pressure
